Program Overview
The heart and soul of an incubator is the assistance it provides its clients. The assistance and services at the Venture Greenhouse begin immediately following admission with a thorough assessment of the client’s business and the services needed. Goals are agreed upon for the client’s 12-month tenure at the Venture Greenhouse. Client services are provided by our management team and by our network of business leaders and professional service providers.
Customized support services will vary from client to client. Services include:
- Weekly coaching and training sessions
- Business planning
- Legal counsel
- Accounting and financial systems development
- Sales and marketing support
- Human resources planning
- Technical support
- Introductions to business and investor network
- Investor presentation preparation
- Access to capital
In addition to these services, a critical component of support comes from interacting in a collaborative environment with other Venture Greenhouse clients.
In exchange for this intensive, early stage support, clients provide the Venture Greenhouse with some combination of small equity stake, royalty arrangement and/or cash payment (including a nominal $100/month per desk fee).
