Ashwin Gulati

Ashwin Gulati brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial, business intelligence and international expertise leading businesses from inception to exit. He has served as the founder, CEO and Senior Executive of Corporate Strategy and Business Development and his industry experience spans  Software, Internet, Green/Clean Tech, Finance, Life Sciences and eCommerce.

As President of Match Point Ventures, Ashwin works closely with corporate leadership teams in executing mission critical initiatives including business planning, market entry/traction, strategic alliances, private equity, restructuring and exit strategies.

Ashwin was the founder and CEO of Gemteq Software Inc., an award winning technology company that he led from inception to expansion into domestic and international markets, forging strategic alliances in Israel, France, Spain and Japan.  Post merger with Alogic, a Business Intelligence subsidiary of a $100+ million French corporation, Ashwin became the President of US Operations for the combined companies.  

Prior to Gemteq Software, Ashwin led new business development for Dun & Bradstreet Software in Spain and the United States. Ashwin has also held sales and marketing positions in Europe with Comshare Inc., a pioneer in Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Systems - responsible for helping global clients improve their ability to implement, communicate and measure their business strategy.

Ashwin received a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College with a dual degree in Economics and Mathematics. He also attended The London School of Economics and King’s College, England. He is a SBDC Business Advisor, Strategy Advisor of Technology Futures Group and a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
